In May 2007, after the french TGV broke the speed world record on rails,
the high speed train was shown to the public on the Seine River through Paris city.
Giant Marine provided the ballastable pontoon and the sets of pumps to carry the
heavy but speedy train, and to adjust the water draft of the pontoon enabling the
transport to pass under all nice bridges of the historical center of the city.
The picture shows the high technology speedy train passing behind the old Notre Dame
